Welcome Dinner

The 4th of August 2013 was a fun evening for all Individual International Students. It was an evening full of food, drinks and interactions between them and the Dean of International Programmes, Professor Naa Adamafio. The Dean welcomed them all to the campus and listened to their concerns and ideas. The students were also given the opportunity to meet the Assistant Registrar, Daniel Hormeku and the entire staff of the office.


The local dishes served were a hit! The students could not get enough.




New friends were made and many ideas shared....

Off to the side is a little viewing deck with a bench. I went to sit on the bench. The tree that covered the bench was alive with bees. The sound of the bees was louder than I have ever heard before. As I tried to meditate in peace, bees flew against my body. I kind of freaked out and moved to a less glamorous spot by the pool. I enjoyed a very nice hour-long meditation. Report on Collaborative Research and Mathematical Modelling: Professor Farai Nyabadza's visit to UG

Prof Nyabadza made an exchange visit to the University of Ghana which is one of the many visits that Prof. Farai Nyabadza and Dr. Chisara Ogbogbo have undertaken in recent years under the Stellenbosch University and University of Ghana staff exchange programme.   The exchange visits between Prof. Farai Nyabadza and Dr. Chisara Ogbogbo started in 2013. The research exchange programme is powered by the MOU between Stellenbosch University and University of Ghana, Legon. It is facilitated by the International Programmes office at the University of Ghana and the Centre for Partnerships and Internationalisation, Stellenbosch University. Department of Mathematics, University of Ghana Dr. Ogbogbo has visited Stellenbosch University twice on the programme and Prof. Nyabadza has also visited University of Ghana twice, the second one being in August 2017.
