University of Ghana Ranked 15th Best in Africa (Repost)

The University of Ghana (UG) was ranked 15th in the 2012 ranking of Top 100 Universities and Colleges in Africa by the 4icu.org University Web Ranking. The University of Ghana and the University of Lagos were the only West African Univeristies in the top 20, which was dominated by South African and Egyptian Univeristies.
According to 4icu.org, this ranking was based on web popularity using data from three different search engines: Google Page Rank, Alexan Traffic Rank and Majestic Seo Referring Domains.

Other Ghanaian universities on the list are the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (24); University of Education, Winneba (43), Presbyterian University College (50 ); and the University of Cape Coast (90).
