Exciting Study Abroad Opportunities for University of Ghana Students!

The University of Ghana, through the International Programmes Office, is offering students of the University of Ghana the opportunity to go on a self-sponsored student exchange programme for one (1) semester or one (1) academic year. Students currently in level 200 have the opportunity to spend the first semester of their third year or one academic year, that is, level 300 in a host university abroad. Also, students in level 300 have the opportunity to spend their first semester of their final year (level 400) abroad and come back to finish the last semester at University of Ghana. The University of Ghana will provide the necessary documents needed to facilitate the student's visa application and application to the host university as well as any academic and pre-departure orientation.

Benefits:
  • There is no need to defer your course. Grades earned at the host university add up to your Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
  • An opportunity to live and study in a whole new cultural and academic environment.

Report on Collaborative Research and Mathematical Modelling: Professor Farai Nyabadza's visit to UG

Prof Nyabadza made an exchange visit to the University of Ghana which is one of the many visits that Prof. Farai Nyabadza and Dr. Chisara Ogbogbo have undertaken in recent years under the Stellenbosch University and University of Ghana staff exchange programme.   The exchange visits between Prof. Farai Nyabadza and Dr. Chisara Ogbogbo started in 2013. The research exchange programme is powered by the MOU between Stellenbosch University and University of Ghana, Legon. It is facilitated by the International Programmes office at the University of Ghana and the Centre for Partnerships and Internationalisation, Stellenbosch University. Department of Mathematics, University of Ghana Dr. Ogbogbo has visited Stellenbosch University twice on the programme and Prof. Nyabadza has also visited University of Ghana twice, the second one being in August 2017.
