WELCOME TO 2ND SEMESTER, WELCOME TO 2014!
The International Programmes Office, on behalf of the University of Ghana, welcomes all international students to the second semester of the 2013/2014 academic year.
To all students continuing their stay with us, we look forward to having you this semester once again. To all who are experiencing Ghana and the University of Ghana for the first time, we say AKWAABA! We are excited to have you with us. We wish you a fruitful and memorable stay.
Last semester was quite an eventful one. The International Students campus and city tour, welcome dinner, welcome durbar and orientation were just a few of the programmes organised by the International Programmes Office (IPO) to make the stay of our students an enjoyable one.
Students also enjoyed other campus and personal events such as a Halloween party, Moonlight Cafe, hall week celebrations, SRC events, seminars and many more. We look forward to another eventful semester!
The International Day celebration to be held on 1st March 2014 is definitely one event all international students should be looking forward to. It will be a day of fun and cultural exchange.
The UG Sports Directorate also promises an eventful semester with their sports line-up. You can follow this link to view the 2013/2014 second semester sports calendar http://ug-sportsdirectorate.blogspot.com/2014/01/20132014-sports-calendar.html
