VACANCIES FOR NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL

FOR THE 2018/2019 ACADEMIC YEAR

 

The International Programmes Office, UG, requires the services of six (6) National Service Personnel for the 2018/2019 academic year. Interested final year students should apply to the Office of the Dean, International Programmes.

 

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

  1. Expecting to graduate with at least a Second Class Upper
  2. Computer literate
  3. Good writing and editing skills
  4. Ability to work in a challenging environment
  5. Team player, excellent social skills and able to take initiative
  6. Good grooming and self-presentation
  7. Prepared to start their National Service by Tuesday July 3, 2018
  8. Prepared to work on requested overtime and weekends
     

NOTE:          APPLICANTS WHO CANNOT STAY FOR THE FULL YEAR OF THE SERVICE PERIOD SHOULD NOT APPLY

 

Applicants should submit the following via e-mail to nspipf@ug.edu.gh

  • An application letter
  • Current transcript of Academic Record
  • Current C.V
  • A clear scanned copy of passport-size photograph
  • A clear scanned copy of Student ID card (front and back)
  • A typed personal statement on the topic: “Why I want to do my National Service at the International Programmes Office” (No more than 500 words)
  • Two (2) references (one should be from a University of Ghana faculty or staff member)
     

*DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Monday, February 12, 2018         

                                           Time:  5:00 pm

Preference will be given to students who apply with their UG student email.
